CLASSIC: Solitary lanes, panoramic views, an art deco airport and Eccles cakes on the Bluebell line.... Just plenty of Sussex countryside, several attractions to keep your mind occupied and, best of all, multiple opportunities for refreshment stops. CLASSIC ride with just one tough (but oligatory to say you have!) climb of Ditchling Beacon towards the end, so compact is fine but not essential. Rolling Sussex Weald (one climb) but a few deceptively tough drags.
