In this alternate route you don't have to take up your bike and climb a fence. So, first start here by climbing on the bridge (no fences ;--))
Entering the National Park, from here you can go off road if you like (hundreds of small sandroads). The main route stays on road.
At last: food and coffee...

Bronkhorst is very beautiful and picturesque and is the smallest ancient city (not a village!!) of Holland.
when you go left, you can take the boat and cross the river (only in summertime)
