Picton to Hanmer over Molesworth Station

This route takes you through some of New Zealand's high country. Section from the state highway is mostly gravel and the 70km through Molesworth station is only open Dec-Feb - even then is often closed due to fire risk. The station section has to be completed in one day as overnight camping is not permitted.by sghoward
