to avoid riding on high-traffic rt 202, could try turn Left on School House Lane, straight across rt 202, continue on School House Lane to its end, Right on Swedesford Rd, Left on Sumneytown Pike (not checked by us since 2007).
Right : route 202 North / Dekalb Pike (high-traffic high-speed road, with shoulders not wide or not good here, but we found it managable on weekend afternoon. It could be avoided by using other roads nearby.

Philadelphia - Chestnut Hill to Ambler to North Wales. For more info + connections to other routes, see www.roberts-1.com/b/x/pb. This route is one stage of a loop connecting Philadelphia + Bethlehem -- search Bikely on [BPhB]. Labels on points form a detailed cue sheet (click on Show, select Cue Sheet). Points have not been tweaked or tested for GPS navigation. This stage has routeID [BPhB6]. It connects from Phila to Bethlehem sec 1 [BPhB5], and connects to Phila to Bethlehem sec 3 [BPhB7]. Not checked by us since 2009.
