The way points of this bicycle route:
from the Art Museum, around the south side find the bridge going west across the Schuylkill River to West River Drive, and ride across that bridge.
West River Drive -- normally free from normal motor vehicle traffic on weekends -- which is the only time we've ever ridden it, so we have no idea what it's like to ride along it on a weekday with lots of motor traffic.
Right : cross Falls Bridge over to the east side of the Schuylkill River.

Left : Werden Dr (across from Conrad St)
Left : Vaux St (to its end) - (using this makes it easier later to turn onto high-traffic Henry Av)

Philadelphia Museum of Art thru Fairmount Park to Chestnut Hill. For more info + connections to other routes, see www.roberts-1.com/b/x/pb. This route is one stage of a loop connecting Philadelphia + Bethlehem -- search Bikely on [BPhB]. Labels on points form a detailed cue sheet (click on Show, select Cue Sheet). Points have not been tweaked or tested for GPS navigation. This stage has routeID [BPhB5]. It connects from Bethlehem to Phila sec 4 [BPhB4], and connects to Phila to Bethlehem sec 2 [BPhB6]. Not checked by us since 2009.
