The way points of this bicycle route:
Start on 159 St. & 78 Ave.
Proceed through intersection, follow road to footbridge crossing Whitemud Freeway. Take a right once across the footbridge then take the swichback down the hill. Turn left on the path before the bridge and follow the path into Laurier Park.
Follow the road (closed to traffic) until you reach the barricade. Follow the road to the entrance of the park by the Valley Zoo.
Follow the road (wrong way on one way into Laurier Park) to the Valley Zoo parking lot. Cross the Buena Vista road into the dog run parking lot. Go through the parking lot and get onto the path to Hawrelak park (gravel).
Follow the gravel trail to the footbridge into Hawrelak Park. Once across the bridge make a sharp left by the picnic shelter and follow the road to the exit from Hawrelak park.
Follow the road to the entrance/exit from the park. Take a left outside the park and follow the road to Emily Murphy Park. Get on the sidewalk and take it across (North) on the Groat Road Bridge. Once across the bridge take a sharp right on the bicycle path to get onto River Road bike path.

Follow the path to the crosswalk light by the Royal Glenora Club. Cross River road and take the road up under the High Level Bridge onto the Legislature Grounds and follow the road up 107 St.
Take 99 Ave. to 104 St. Go north on 104 St. Turn right onto 100 Ave. and follow it until it turns into 102 St. Go North of Jasper Ave. and you're at Commerce Place.
