Tough ride but worth it! Leave Varzi and head out towards Passo del Penice. At the bridge where the road forks follow the signs to Penice / Bobbio. You start to climb here. This climb is more challenging than it appears as it get steeper the higher you climb. Towards the top there is a water fountain in the forest by the road. At the top you can see a ski slope and stunning views across the valley towards Varzi. can be cool. Descend back to Varzi and after 5 kms take a left turn to Passo Del Brallo. This is a fantastic road not steep but great views all the way. Brallo is a tourist location with cafes and places to eat. Descend back to Varzi, the descent has lots of bends and is nice and easy all the way. You can do this route that other way around where the descents are very, very fast from Penice to Varzi. This area is relatively undiscovered and is a biking paradise. Enjoy!by klein1996
