Parramatta Park to Bicentenial Park
by Gandalf

The way points of this bicycle route:

Parramatta

Start at exit to Parramatta Park.

Trying to get to Phillip Street. I like to get off George as quickly as I can.

Phillip Street ... I think has less traffic.

Looking for entrance to pedestrian/Cycling Bridge between buildings. There is a raised pedestrian crossing here.

Cross Bridge to Elizabeth Streeet

Turn at Thomas. Fairly wide with a good shoulder.

Cycle Path here ... leads Under James Ruse Drive.

Industrial Area at Brodie. Keep an eye out for delivery trucks.

Re-enter Cycle path behind car-park. Noisy metal walkway bridge to cross.

Enter South Street. Wide with Shoulder, but cars always parked on shoulder so watch for doors.

I usually turn at park Rd ... but you could keep on SOuth Street and turn later.

Notorious Thackeray Street Bridge. Enter Cycleway here ... worst is over.

Follow cycleway along the river ... enjoy the view.

Silverwater

Can turn here and cross over silverwater bridge to BiCentenial Park, or go under bridge and head off towards MeadowBank.
