The way points of this bicycle route:

Lake Parramatta

Bitumen Rd Ends, now becomes sandstone rocks, ephemeral creek crossings

Rest stop, chairs, view of Lake from here

Take western branch here to go around lake via a very technical section of track, lots of walking

Creek crossing in here, some carrying of bikes

Single track in and back to a lovely overhang & deep water hole on creek

Rough track through here. Watch for convict built culverts. Nice natural bush

End of track. You can now return by same route or follow William Place to North Rocks Rd to ride back to Parramatta or up to North Rocks.

Route Details

Nice off road ride suitable for beginners with options for intermediate to advanced riders. Nice views of Lake Parramatta & option for a coffee stop at Lake Kiosk. Plenty of Parking & toilets at Lake Kiosk as well as picnic areas & BBQ's.
