Good short on-road training ride with some climbing, quiet roads and views. This route takes you along the Gorge Road, a scenic winding road along the Torrens river valley. There is a steepish climb up to the Kangaroo Creek dam. Continue along the road for several kilometres until you reach the turn off to Torrens Hill Road. This starts off with a steep pinch and continues fairly relentlessly up to Paracombe Road. This is an orchard growing area with good views across to the south. Past the golf course you will join Lower North East Road for a long downhill run back to the suburbs. by quandongpie
