A little stretch of 101 is inevitable (I think) when going to Shelton. It's short, though, and not strenuous.

Getting back on 101 and entering Shelton on Railroad Ave is far preferable to me than taking 3 - riding uphill with a line of cars shooting exhaust at you.

This is a pretty nice ride, at least as far as getting you from Oly to Shelton without too much time on 101. It's a fairly basic ride, difficulty wise.
