The way points of this bicycle route:
Jump on to the sidewalk on the east side of the road and follow it south past the ballfields to the school parking lot and then to Denison.
This is a very steep hill (down to Jennings)!
You're going to jump on the Towpath from here.
Based on the relative traffic of the path and Canal, I will decide if I should jump out to Canal over one of the bridges on the left.
W. Canal never has any traffic.
There's water and restrooms here at Lock 39, cross under Rockside on the path then head to Canal, or stay on the towpath to continue South in to the CVNP. The towpath is crushed cinder from here until Lock 29. The actual distance will be longer by a bit-- the towpath route is rather stylized.
