This town is the gateway to Le Colorado Provencal, a park with ocre cliffs. There are color-coded hiking trails, but I'm not sure of bicycles are allowed or how much can be seen without hiking. The trailhead is 200 meters southwest of the big parking lot (look for signs). When leaving town, head south on Route des Ocres.
Cross the D22.
L at T.

R on D112 into Gignac.
Continue eastbound on D112 towards Viens.

Per Rick Steves: This town is where locals from Rousillon go to get away. Explore the streets of the old town and "find the courtyard of the old chateau and the lone stone arch overlooking the view. This is how Gordes must have looked before it became chic." Le Petit Jardin Cafe, just below the town's only phone booth, offers an unpretentious lunch stop. There's also a small grocery and bakery a few blocks past the cafe.
Leave town westbound on Route de Saint Martin (D190).
BL to continue on D190 to St Martin.

Continue on D48 towards Saignon.
High above a rocky spur, Saignon looks down upon the small city of Apt. The town has several cafes and a grocery store. Leave town on the southwest bound D232 towards Buoux.
R to remain on D232
Cross the D114 to remain on the D232.
L on the D113 towards Buoux.
Per Rick Steves, a way-off-the-beaten-path village, home to two memorable restaurants (L'Auberge de la Loube: The ultimate country Provencal experience, closed Mon and Thu and also L'Auberge des Sequins near the parking lot for Fort de Buoux) and Provence's best ruined castle. Leave town on the southbound D113.
L on D943
Immediate R on Chemin de Bonnieux a Saint Symphonen
R on Traverse des Blayon, unless you want to ride through town.
