November 6, 2009 Rim Crest to Carbon Canyon 13 Miler Chino Hills State Park
by STR76

The way points of this bicycle route:

Yorba Linda

Rim Crest off of Fairmont

South Ridge Chino Hills State Park

Head East on South Ridge

Connector to Gas Company Rd

This was a milestone along my adventure since I had hiked up and down G.C.R. from Casino Ridge in Yorba Linda

Bovinian (Sp?) Single Track

The view to the right as I came up S. Ridge caught my eye so I stopped and had a short photoshoot. As I prepared start riding again I notice the single track. Wasn't planning to explore off of S.Ridge since I was parked there but after a few yards on the single track there was no turning back.

Four Corners Chino Hills State Park

Snack Time!

Telegraph/S.Ridge Connector

I came up the 3 B's last week to four corners. Ugh! The last one proved to be a capital B!

South Ridge

Head West on S. Ridge

Unamed Single Track

A mild climb to the top but worth the effort

San Juan 1896

Don't know what the cement monument is about. Wasn't able to get signal at 4 corners, luckily I could here. Call WRXpert (aka Jeff) to arrange pick up on Lambert, near Carbon Canyon Park

Little Canyon

Might as well explore another new trail since Im confident it will connect to Telegraph which gets me to my shuttle

Catch your ride shuttle

Thanks WRXpert (aka Jeff)
