North Carolina Dismal Swamp Canal Welcome Center to South Hill, NC Loop.

The bike path is off road from the Welcome Center to route US 17 bridges (Over pass). This portion is safe for all ages. From route US 17 bridges (Over pass) to South Mills, there is a designated bike route (3 feet wide) along the road. Vehicle traffic is minimal, but still unsafe for children, because the vehicles that use it may travel faster then posted speed limitby DavidV1956
