The way points of this bicycle route:
(See Comments for ride description). Start at bottom of ramp on north side of Rooty Hill station, near Tropical Hut shop. Follow direct route out of car park, and cross Station St to carpark on other side.
Go through car park onto unsealed track at other end (heading east).
(Gate. May be closed. If so narrow track around it on RHS).
Turn left onto M7 shared path access ramp.
Turn right onto M7 shared path.
(Eastern Rd underpass).
(Church St access path).
(Bridge over Great Western Hwy).
(Bridge over M4 - Lighthorse interchange).
(Water bubbler on left).
(Follow M7 shared path around to the left across bridge).
(Chandos Rd underpass).
(Bridge over Redmayne Rd).
(The Horsley Drive underpass).
Turn left off the M7 shared path onto the path that leads down to Saxony Rd.
Turn left onto Saxony Rd.
(Straight ahead at roundabout).
(Western Sydney Regional Park gates. May be closed in the evenings, but bikes can gain access via pedestrian access to the left of the main gate.
Turn right into Border Rd and head up the hill.
Sugarloaf Ridge Lookout to the right, about 200m. Toilets and a water tap (tap not well marked).
Moonrise Lookout
Go through bollards if gate closed, and turn right onto Cotswold Rd and down a reasonably steep hill. Watch out for the speed humps!
Turn right onto shared path.
(Fairfield City Farm on right). Turn left onto shared path.
(Cross Darling St).
(Cross Dalbertis St. Next section of shared path may be closed. If so, turn right onto Dalbertis St and at the end turn left into Province St and follow to the end).
(Abbotsbury shopping centre on left. Cross Stockdale Cr and continue along shared path).
(Cross Cowpasture Rd using bridge).
(Orphan School Ck Shared Path).
(Cross Belfield Rd).
(Cross Sweethaven Rd).
(Cross Minmosa Rd)
Turn right on the shared path alongside Minmosa Rd.
Turn left onto the path which winds through the trees. (Greenfield Shopping Centre to the right).
Turn right onto shared path alongside Parramatta-Liverpool T-way).
(Cross Greenfield Rd).
(Cross Smithfield Rd).
Turn left across T-way at the pedestrian crossing and then right to follow path along the eastern side of the T-way.
(Cross Endensor Rd).
(Bonnyrigg Plaza Shopping Centre on left).
(Cross Elizabeth Drive).
(Cross Brown Rd).
Cross to Western side of T-way and then cross North Liverpool Rd.
(Cross Green Valley Rd).
(Cross South Liverpool Rd, then back to the Eastern side of the T-way).
End of T-way. Turn left onto shared path on north side of Hoxton Park Rd.
Just after crossing Cabramatta Ck, stop at the pedestrian lights and cross over Hoxton Park Rd. Proceed on the shared path along the eastern side of Joadja Rd.
(Liverpool Catholic Club on left).
At the end of the shared path, cross Jedda Rd (east) and follow the main alignment of Jedda Rd around to the right.
Turn left onto M7 shared path access path.
Turn right onto M7 shared path.
(Bridge over Hoxton Park Rd & Wilson Rd).
(Bridge across Cowpasture Rd).
(17th Ave East Access Point & Serbian Cultural Club).
(McIver Ave access point).
(3 bridges on left leading up to Elizabeth Dr).
(Bridge across Elizabeth Dr).
Turn right into Villiers Rd access path.
Turn left into Villiers Rd and go up the hill. Continue along shared path at the end of the road.
Turn right into Border Rd.
Turn right to Sugarloaf Ridge lookout again, or straight ahead for Moonrise.
Heading back to Rooty Hill the way we originally came. Head back down the hill along Border Rd.
Turn left into Saxony Rd.
Western Sydney Parkland Gates. Go through pedestrian access point if gates closed.
Turn right onto M7 shared path access path.
Turn right onto M7 shared path.
(The Horsley Drive underpass).

(Chandos Rd underpass).
Follow shared path around to the right.
(Water bubbler on left).
(Bridge over M4 - Lighthorse interchange).

Turn hard left off M7 shared path, onto access path.
Turn right, and head for Rooty Hill station. Remember to watch out for the gate in case it's closed!
