Turn left across raised pavement into Eldon Street. Ahead on Bewicke Street for new link to Tyne Cycle Tunnel

Join off-road cycle path leading around to Toucan Crossing

Cross Howdon Lane at Toucan Crossing

Old link to Tyne Pedestrian & Cycle Tunnel

Bridge over A19(T) road

East Howdon Bypass. Beware fast traffic on this dual carrigeway ( new light controlled crossing due to be installed 2008)
