Hadrian's Wall walking trail crosses at this point. Cross new bridge over the Tipalt Burn.
Ford over Tipalt Burn or wooden bridge

Join off-road cycle path alongside the Military Road. VERY STEEP & ROUGH ! 1:4 for 1/4 mile then 1:10 to summit.
