The way points of this bicycle route:
START at Java City - corner of 18th & Capitol
EAST on Capitol, AWAY from the Capitol Bldg. and with the numbered cross streets going UP
LEFT on 20th St.
LEFT onto C St.
CROSS RR tracks to IMMEDIATE RIGHT onto American River Bike Trail access (Do not cross 19th St.)
RIGHT at bike path intersection to keep riding AWAY from midtown
CROSS river on bike bridge
RIGHT at the bike trail intersection to join the main bike trail - CONTINUE until the designated turn around.
To get back to Java City, turn LEFT off the main trail at approximately mile 2.5 of the Bike Trail. This intersection will be beneath a large car overpass.
CROSS the American River on a small bike/foot bridge
LEFT at the next intersection to stay on the bike path - taking the WRONG fork dumps you out onto 18th st.
LEFT onto C St.
RIGHT onto 20th St.
RIGHT onto Capitol Ave
FINISH at Capitol and 18th St.
