The way points of this bicycle route:
connects here with the official sign-marked Lac St Andre route from the city of Chambery.
actually the main town is up the hill to the right.
crossing high-speed high-traffic volume road -- Doing it legally might require first turning Right and going a ways toward the SouthEast - (but what do I know, I'm just an American Tourist)
climb long hill
Tours de Chignin -- optional side trip on hill to West on uppaved roads and paths to explore five ancient stone towers with a big view.
Chignin is a well-known name for white wines of Savoie
some of next section on dirt (I think I remember)
next section on dirt
bakery nearby in 2008
nice view to south
next go down a hill
next is a bridge over the Autoroute with a view of the intersection of the Autoroutes
Lac Saint-Andre: optional side trip by making Right turn here.
Apremont is another famous name for Savoie wines. From here another option is to use the "Chambery - Lac St Andre - St Baldoph" route to go to St Baldoph.
from here can continue on this same loop from its start point -- or take Lac St Andre route back to the city of Chambery.

pretty vineyards + farms + mountain views in the Isere river valley south of Chambery on mostly quiet roads -- though several high-traffic intersections and short road sections. A couple of sections on packed dirt (which I rode on my skinny-tire road bike, but I think they're avoidable anyway). A couple of significant hill climbs -- which lead to great views from up on the side of the valley. Connects with the official Lac St Andre bicycle route from the city of Chambery.
This route not checked by me since 2008.
