The way points of this bicycle route:
Start at Ararat station. East along Birdwood Avenue
Left on to Victoria Street
Right at lights on to Barkly Street
Stop at the bakery for morning tea. Then head back east along Barkly Street
Left at Vincent Street
Road sweeps around to the right on Campbell Street
Right at McLellan Street
Half left on to Grand Street
Right on to Warrak Road
There's water in the tank behind the church. Continue straight ahead on to Mt Cole Road
Left on to Chinaman Road
Stay here the night. There is tank water, a picnic shelter, fireplaces and long drop toilets. The next day, head back to Mt Cole Road
Left on to Mt Cole Road
Left on to Water Race Road
Right on to Beaufort Road
There's a picnic area here with toilets and water
Turn left just over railwt line on to Burke Street
Left at Pratt Street
Finish at Beaufort station
