Out of Fairhomles and follow road round the res.
Ride along narrow road going round the water.
Carry on past Dam wall.
Keep Going!!
At gate, go through to your left and start climbing up cobbled path, can be slippery, very!!
This is marked as a footpath but is actually a bridleway path in all the guides.
Up to the farm and through both gates.
Resting point and meeting point.
Down to water crossing, ready for a tough technical climb.
Rocky, muddy, greasy.
Through gate and keep climbing!

Climb through gate, follow on through muddy trail, good fun!
Stay on main trail, not left at fork.
Trail starts to climb here, into a good flowing technical climb

Descent starts to get steeper and rocky.
Bends round to the right, slippery when wet!
Turn right at this fork, mild climb onto nice trail.
Variuos line to choose from, can be very wet.
Corner drop down to gate, Rocky.
Gate, water crossing.
Climb up, rocky, muddy.
Start of a great descent down to the Ladybower Inn. Beware of gate half way down.
Good rocky descent.
Technical in places, depends on which line you take.

Follow road, turn left at lights over bridge.

Follow round till wall over dam.
Right at wall, over dam.
This is a footpath so please give way to walkers. Close gates.
Close gates. Fire road for 2.4 miles. Good chance for chatting while riding and resting a bit before hard climb!!

Very sharp left turn, steep climb up through gate.
Steep, straight, not very technical but can be very greasy.

Put your lungs back in and rest your legs for the next part of climb. Right through gate.
Left up through heavily wooded area. Muddy wet rocky rooty climb.
Climb up and round till gate.
Gate n rest. Down grassy singletrack
Right, quick grassy single track descent. Can be muddy and slippery, rutted.
Descend down to gate..
Gate. Sandy wet trail.
Sandy wet split trail, a few lines, most wet!
Gate. Good short rocky technical climb.
Gate. Resting and meeting point.
Another bail point. Can go down the Beast to fair holmes for a quicker route home.
Carry on up technical singletrack climb. Watch your line and pedals! Good for balance....

Down to water crossing, sharp right, up to next descent.
Start of next descent. Roman Road.
Very rocky technical descent with sweeping singletrack line to the right.

Goes through pine woods. Rocky, muddy in places, a few small drops, can be very fast. Glasses or Goggles needed!!
