Camping La Citadelle
Exit Campsite TR onto Rue Quintefol. SP Centre Ville. River runs on RHS.
TR SP Jardin Public Stade. into Place Quintefol - becomes Allee du Maquis Cesario. Cross River pass Football Pitch RHS then under railway. Bear Left to pass back over railway.
TJ TR No SP at Place du Grand Mail along D760. You are now heading east to Beaulieu-les-Loches.
TL into Rue des Viantaises. (Yellow post box and Lotto store just beyond junction).
TJ TL No SP. Pass Rue des Marins RHS.
TR by the Boulangerie into Mail Saint-Pierre. (Parking/Square LHS. Climb out of the village through the rock cut (You have priority) to exit the village.
XR SO SP Ferriere sur Beaulieu on D355, crossing the D760.
Restaurant LHS. You have priority at Cross roads.
TJ TR onto D764/D964 SP Genille, Montrichard.
XR TL at the 18th Century Pyramid (Obelisk) to enter Route Forestiere de George d'Amboise.
8 way junction TR. Take the middle one marked No Through Rd. 400 metres. The other two go straight out either side.
6 Way Junction. At Zone de Silence carry straight on through the barrier. Pass sign RHS Sauf Ayant-Droit.
Cross track cross roads. Keep going straight. The track gets a little rougher but it's OK.
XR TR at end of track.. Descend along tarmac and the lane will bear left (road opposite is signed La Charpraie). Climb gradually.
Bear Left. (Road straight on is a dead end) pass Le Coudray LHS. Bear left through the hamlet and head for the village ahead.
TL No SP. opposit white cross and enter Genille. (passing high wall LHS) If you pass a tennis court RHS you will have missed the junction which is easily done. Pass raised walkway RHS and enter village.
TJ TR No SP opposite blue 27 along Rue Jean d'Arc.
Enter the centre. Now you may be thinking about a break here. There are several possibilities: 2 boulangeries, one in the centre of the village(Closes 1300 - 1600) and one on the left as you leave the village.. There is a seat by the Church. Petit Casino (supermarket) closes 1230-1500 closed Wednesday. Hotel/Restaurant, not very big, in the middle Bar. You will pass one on the route in about 0.3 mile.
TL SP Chemille, Montressor (after Camping Municipal Sign) Climb the D10.
Small hamlet. Carry straight on, we have right of way. Descend now.
There is a lake and beach RHS. The beach is on the far side of the lake if you want to stay a while here.
TL SP Centre-Bourg, Plan d'Eau. Cross bridges.
Close to l'Olivet stream. Descend towards the centre of Montressor.
TJ TL SP Villeloin, Valencay along D760. The Chateau can bee seen straight ahead LHS. Go along the dead end road where the road bears left

Bear left and push tandem under stone bridge. (No Entry)
TJ TL and pass Chateau LHS. At the bottom of the road bear right for the boulangerie, Tourist information and Bar/Restaurant.
Centre of Town
With your back to the Tourist Information Centre in the middle of the town, head left passing the Chateau RHS (In effect the way you came into town. This is the D760 heding towards Villeloin-Coulange.
Still in Montresor pass Rue Abel Mariner going right. Take the next left along Montplaisir. (If you have the green cyclocarte this is the orange road.
TL into Rue de Nouans becomes Montplaisir.
Continue SO along this straigh road and pass right turn to Villeloin-Coulange.
XR SO (Right turn leads to Villeloin-Coulange.
XR Turn right. towards Villeloin-Coulange.
Pass settlements of le Village de Champs RHS and Bel-Air RHS.
Enter village and pass cemetary on LHS.
XR SO to cross D760 in centre of town.
TJ TL towards Loches-sur-Indrois. Along Rue de Loche.
Enter village. There is a boulangerie here. Follow signs for D11 heading South.
TJ TR onto D9 towards Loches. Rue de la Mairie. (This is a more major road)
TL onto D11. Route de Chatillon.
XR TR towards la Gironnerie. This is the 3rd. right after Loche-sur-Indrois. Ther is a small patch of woodland RHS as you enter and exit junction.
Follow this quiet road passing the Bois de Beaugerais (Very large wood) LHS
Pass la Creusonnerie RHS.
Very small hamlet. Crry straight on passing 2 roads LHS that lead to dead end track and the road coming in from the right from les Moineuadieres.
Keep right at fork in road.
XR SO to cross D9. Ignore road coming from left just before junction.

Follow road round to right tocross river l'Indrois.
XR TL onto D760 Rue de Montresor.
TL SP Chemille along D10 and exit Montresor.
TL SP Centre-Bourg, Plan d'Eau. Cross bridges.
Bear Right (One way system)
TL exit village along Rue Henry de Marsary. You will pass a picnic site with bar and toilets RHS, continue to climb.
SO SP Loches (14) along V4. (There is a sign right hers to Village Chalets des Coteaux) You will now descend.
XR TR SP La Chartreuse (There is a dead end sign opposite) This is a busier road.
13th. Century church just opposite the pond.

6 way junction. TR SP Genille, Pyramid de Montaigu (By Km sign No.23.)

6 way junction TL No SP along Route Gabrielle D'Estrees
TJ TR No SP onto D764
Roundabout SO (2nd Exit). SP Beaulieu-des-Loches, Loches along D764.
TL SP Chambres d'Hotes along Rue Prosper merimee
Bear right and descend. Pass l'Hermitage LHS
Bear right and pass under road then climb.
Bear Right along Rue de la Viorne. Enter beaulieu-des-Loches. (Sign LHS)
TJ TL no SP over zebra crossing (red fire hydrant opposite) If you exit Beaulieu you have gone the wrong way.
Bear Right. SP Loches.Centre of Beaulieu. (Boulangerie LHS and small supermarket)
Cross River TL SP Jardin Public into Chemin de la Prairie de la Foire.
Pass under railway line
TJ TL at Place Quintefol.
