Montreal river ride: Estacade & Voie Maritime/St Laurence Seaway, starting on Mont Royal

Across the mountain, across the river, and along the car- and civilization-free voie maritime bike path. Recreo-parc area at the end (after the St-Catherine locks) has lots of picnic benchs and river views. You can cross the seaway onto the South Shore at these locks. (Food is available here).
