The way points of this bicycle route:
Kind of bumpy but shortest route to Pointe-aux-Trembles from St-Leonard.
In normal condition, it's ok but there is a lot of trucks. Around August 15th 09, I just find out that the 2 lanes came to 1 lane due to road works for 500 meters. It was kind crazy with trucks passing besides me at 6 inches of my left arm. But after, it was fast and smooth since the wind was heading East.
Very smooth ride until Repentigny, easy low traffic.
Transition until 344. Low-medium traffic.
Transition until 344. Low traffic.
Welcome on the 344. Very nice scenic road, low traffic, and smooth ride.
Here you have to ride slightly on Boul. Des Seigneurs for 1-2 km until returning to Rte 344. Medium traffic.
Be careful because there is 2 restaurants which provide fast food only. (Burger, Fries, Poutine, etc.) Also the one on the corner does not accept credit cards nor debit cards. Cash only.
Here everything has been made easy for cyclists. Very well organized, and secure crossing.
Enjoy the Lakeshore scenic view and smooth ride. Little to no traffic, smooth ride.
