The way points of this bicycle route:
Start at Starbucks, 2038 Lyndell Terrace (Hwy 113 & Covell)
Turn RIGHT on John Jones Road and continue until end of this road.
Turn LEFT on Road 29. Beware of commuter and freeway approach travel from either direction.
Turn LEFT on Aviation Avenue. Very light traffic here.
Turn LEFT on Road 95. Light local traffic only with very good sightlines.
STOP and then Through intersection. Very busy road with speeding vehicles and poor sight line on left.
STOP at lightly traveled Route 128. Beware of "stealth" traffic in either direction. Turns and road contour hides small vehicles.
Bear RIGHT on Road 95, keeping nursery on you right.
CROSS colorful Stevens Bridge (Graffiti), a local landmark and make sharp left turn while watching for approaching vehicles.
Road now makes sharp right turn. Continue on this road for next 2 miles to T-intersection and Stop sign.
Turn LEFT at Stop sign. Lightly traveled road with very good sight lines.
Stop sign at 3-road intersection. Very light traffic.
Beware of merging traffic on right from Curry Road.
Turn RIGHT on busy Pedrick Road with heavy truck traffic.
Shift into lower gear to climb overpass. Expect trucks to be behind you.
At top of overpass, signal LEFT turn to vehicles behind you. Get into left lane when safe.
LEFT turn onto lightly traveled Sparling Lane. Often windy here and always noisy.
Right turn on Tremont Road.
Warning: Dangerous angled RR tracks. This RR is heavily traveled. Anticipate stop.
Note: Old Davis Road can be short cut to return to UC Campus.
LEFT turn on lightly traveled Mace Boulevard. Traffic from right can be partially obscured.
Mace Boulevard often has head winds of 9-15 mph.
Beware of motorists entering from Stop sign on left.
Heavy local traffic.
LEFT turn at signalized intersection. Use left-turn pocket.
RIGHT turn into side entrance of shopping center.
Ride terminates at Coffee Shop on left.
