The way points of this bicycle route:

Onohara Higashi

Onohara is on the northern edge of the conrete jungle that is Osaka.

Pick up route 1 at the new mono-rail link

Cross 171 and head into the hills. In a few minutes you will leave the urban crush for the fresh air and greenery of the Minoh mountains

This completes the first minor climb. Left turn here takes you climbing into the rural areas of the mountains. A right turn will take you back to 171

Take te left fork here past the fire station - the road steepens for a while as you reach the top of the climb

At the top of the climb - zip up your shirt for the zip downhill into Yono

Turn right here in Yono and do a little more clibing towards Kameoke

Leave the 423 here and start the trip back to the starting point. A little uphill at first and then a long sweeping downhill run that makes this such a great Sunday morning ride

Right turn here onto route 46, sometimes there is some trffic here, especially trucks which sometimes break up the road surface, so be careful.
