The way points of this bicycle route:

Right on trail down to River Road / Minnehaha Falls bike trail

Right on trail along LRT.

Left in Minnehaha Trail.

Right turn under RR bridge onto ramp for Midtown Greenway

Up the ramp, over the Sabo bike and pedestrian bridge.

Up the ramp and over the Martin Sabo bike / ped bridge.

Right turn, down the ramp to West River Pkwy.

Water fountain at Summit Ave.

Right turn, STEEP HILL, down into Hidden Falls Park.

Onto paved trail parallel to river.

Under Highway 5 bridge.

Now leaving Hidden Falls, entering Crosby Farm Park.

Right onto a trail near the shelter house that cuts into the woods.

Right at first tee in trail.

Right at 4-way intersection with bench.

Along Crosby Lake.

Get on sidewalk at left as you climb the hill. It will make it easy to cross the traffic gate at the top of the hill.

Right onto trail next to Shepard Rd.

Through the tunnel under 35E. WATCH OUT FOR OTHER BIKERS. BAD VISIBILITY.

Crossing 35E bridge.

Mendota Heights

Left and up the ramp.

Right and down a steep corkscrew.

Left onto Big Rivers Regional Trail. WATCH FOR CARS. This is an old railroad bed with a slight upgrade as you ride southwest.

Under 35E bridge

Under Highway 13 bridge, then a sharp right up the ramp.

Under Highway 13 bridge, then a sharp right up the ramp.

Right on Mendota Bridge

You have an option here ... left is shorter to Minnehaha Park, but not as scenic. Right and you go down a big hill by Fort Snelling, then up a gradual RR grade to Minnehaha Park. More scenic, cool & shady, but 1 more hill.

Left onto road.

Right and back on trail.

Entering Minnehaha Park. Straight ahead onto the road.

Right and quick left onto trail.

Right on trail

Right and up the hill.

Left on Woodlawn Ave.
