Left - Butler St (unsigned) - (turn comes in midst of downhill, sign for Bike Route A as of 2009)
quick Left - James St
sharp Right - (unsigned) Grinnell St (turn comes at top of hill, before the end of James St)
(view across Hudson River to mouth of Roundout Creek by Kingston)
(to visit a little park alongside the Hudson river, with a view of the bridge, turn Left on Hutton St)
(to visit Rhinebeck, with food options, continue straight west past Ryan Rd + River Rd, then return the same way)
Left - Ryan Rd (just before reaching rt 103 / River Rd)
Straight onto Kingston-Rhinecliff Bridge [wide shoulder on roadway as of 2009] across Hudson River toward Kingston -- can continue on route "Kingston-Rhinecliff to Mid-Hudson west side" (search on Bikely for [bhvr6b])

From Poughkeepsie north to Rhinecliff on the east side of the Hudson River -- half of a loop around the two bridges. Mostly avoids higher-traffic roads.
