This is a metric century ride (100 km) from Meriden, near Birmingham. I have plotted it as another CycleChat forum ride, but it would be a nice training ride for those of you in the area who like to get away from traffic as much as possible, and who like the odd little hill thrown in. I haven't yet worked out where the local cafes are, but I know that there are shops in Polesworth that you could use at about the 60km point. This isn't a quick route because it twists and turns round some narrow country lanes but it is the kind of ride I enjoy. I know that some of you out there prefer tearing up and main roads - this one isn't for you! ;)by ColinJ
