The way points of this bicycle route:
There is a beautiful Hacienda in this town which has gardens and I believe it is a restaurant.
From the 261 highway to the cenote is about 10km. The last 2km is dirt and the bitchamen road before that is rough for a couple of kilometres. Unfortunately we couldn't go in on our road bikes but the pictures of the cenote where you can swim look beautiful.
The road from Uman to Progresso gets busier as you get closer to Progresso and ends up being quite busy. I suggest a quieter parallel road.

All the roads around this area seem to be quiet once you get out of Merida. We loved the road from Uayalceh (not shown on the google map) to Temozon, it was actually windy and had a few hills. Most of the towns on my map aren't shown on the google map. We basically headed out of town and then followed signs to Dzununcam (even though it wasn't on our map). Despite all this it's very hard to get lost and there are heaps of villages to stock up your supplies at.
