Pocatello, Idaho to Lava Hot Springs, Idaho (avoiding Hwy 30)
This is one of the few ways I know of to get to Lava Hot Springs from Pocatello without using any portion of the dangerous Highway 30. The downside is that Smith Canyon Road is very difficult and not entirely paved (gravel).by tlp
