Mad Duck/FCS Team Training Ride

Advanced to intermediate training ride. Several local racing teams typically use this ride for non race weekend training. Expect an easy warm up for the first 10 miles with 20 to 30 riders leaving the shop. Along the route more riders will be joining in from various spots. Before long the pack can be 50+ and the pace will pick up. This is a mainly rural route with little traffic for the middle 35 miles. The course has rolling hills and several decent climbs including the steep face of Hilltop Rd near Denton. The route also goes up Copper Canyon Rd. Group riding experience is recommended. This is a survival of the fittest ride so don't expect the pack to stop if you have a problem. There will be slower groups within the main pack and opportunities to cut off part of the route. The full course is 57 miles out and back from Mad Duck.by Chiefan
