The way points of this bicycle route:
Starting here, it gets real nice... lots of trees, shade, and narrow country roads
Real nice ride here through country (for now at least) area
My original map had me taking the old road to Love's creek, but it appears to be closed (Unless I missed something).
This is a bit of a climb... maybe 100 ft at 11% grade?
This is normally the end of my commute
There is traffic here, but there's also a wide paved roadside to ride on as you go through / over Sharps Pass
Well, okay, so your looking at an interstate exchange... Not that pretty
It's a lot safer to by-pass the traffic going up Bruhin / Inskip which can be hairy to ride on, so I avoid it.

This combines my long east and west commutes to make a nice riding loop. It's mostly low-traffic neighborhoods, some country farm areas on the east side of town. Basically it starts by the Fountain City duck pond, goes out to Love's Creek, up onto Buffat Mill for a stretch, through some old neighborhoods, around the far end of Sharps Ridge (Sharps Pass) on the west, then back through some neighborhoods to the duck pond again. The elevation changes are mild to moderate.
