The way points of this bicycle route:
SA at traffic lights, L at roundabout, then L at school
R at mildly hazardous roundabout into Warners Bay Rd
R into Bayview St; sharpish uphill, gorgeous lake views, then devilish downhill.
Mildly hazardous shopping centre. Then plain sailing to Toronto.
Sharp climb out of Toronto; then largish undulations to Wangi Turnoff.
Sublime lake views to left next 1.1km.
Decent range of shops, last until Dora Creek. Continue along Watkins & Rees then R into Dobell Drive; nice view across lake to Pulbah Island.
Decent range of shops on Dora Street; last en-route until Doyalson North (15km away)
Numerous servos until Lake Munmorah school; grab your necessary refreshments here.
A couple of tricky pinches till Nords Wharf turnoff; easier to attack at 28km/hr than 22km/hr.
Nasty pinch next 700m.
Wonderful smooth descent into Swansea, enjoy!
Mildly hazardous roundabout and shops next 600m
Dan Murphys store here. Smooth, fast section to Belmont.
Mind the parked cars; mildly hazardous next 600m but caution will see you through.
Start thinking about R turn here; ride decisively.
A couple of tricky climbs to take in ocean views and extend route to 100km. L John Fisher, R Old Belmont, R Harrison (gorgeous ocean views to right), R Ntaba
Road narrows until Mobile Home Village, abt 900m
R Brown, R Elsdon, L Hutchinson, R Cowlishaw, L Allard, R Steel
Start climbing; almost there.
Ocean views superb to left until finish.
