Edson has the least gradient of any N-S street I've found in Lombard
Take the east sidewalks next to the golf cousrs on the return route.
Beacon Hill Retirement Home parking lot cuts out a steep gradient. Say hi to the residents!
Careful here. Let the cars turn right. Nobody sees you.
Stay on the sidewalk. Little used. Cars going fast an dnot expecting bikes
BIG BIG Gradient going south. If you can make it over this, you can take anything else the world throws at you today.

Now enter residential Downers Grove. Much fewer cars.
