The way points of this bicycle route:
Urban at first but becomes semi rural then rural pretty quickly
North Pine Markets on left on a sunday. Semi Rural from here
Quarry trucks can be a problem on work days for a little while (until you are past the 2 quarries)
2nd Quarry so trucks less of an issue from here
Shops and cafes. Public toilets. Turn right, the climb starts in about one klm
Starts to get scenic from here and just gets better. Enjoy the view!
