Start in parking lot at Center; follow trailhead under Hazel ave bridge to join the Jed Smith Bike Trail, West.
Rest Room break here.
Congested traffic here right turn; along shoulder for a very short stretch
Cross overpass to Newcastle
Almost There!
Lunch!! Yummy soup, sandwiches & coffee!
Follow Newcastle Road for long, steady downhill back to Auburn-Folsom.
Long, brisk return to Folsom. Traffic, sure, but a pretty good shoulder and fast pace.
Follow the good old trail back to Aquatic Center, and we're done.
