The way points of this bicycle route:
Make your way out of the station towards Hesse St
Cross over highway and turn right at Main St
Left at Anderson St (aka Winchelsea Deans Marsh Rd)
Right at Cape Otway Rd
You don't quite go into Birregura. Turn right here if you want to see the town. Otherwise, straight ahead
Now on the Birregura Forrest Rd
Follow road around to the right
Left turn here but still on the Birregura Forrest Rd
Left at Turner Drive
Right at Station St
Left at Hennigan Crescent
Road changes to Kaanglang Rd
Right. Still on Kaanglang Rd
Turn right towards Lake Elizabeth campground
Camp here for the night. There is a toilet block and a rainwater tank. In the morning, head back the way you came.
Right on to Kaanglang Rd
Left on to Mt Sabine Rd
Left on to Penny Royal Track
Right towards Deans Marsh
Left on to Deans Marsh Road
Stop here for afternoon tea then proceed straight ahead on the Winchelsea Deans Marsh Road
Right in to Main St
Left in to Hesse St. straight ahead to the pub. Ring them beforehand if you plan to stop in on Sunday night before the train.
