The way points of this bicycle route:
From Vineyard station head NE on Bandon Rd.
Cross Windsor Rd into Chapman Rd
Left on Old Pitt Town Rd.
Right on Midson Rd
Short section of dirt road. Ignore No Throughroad sign.
Right on Scheyville Rd. Watch for fast traffic at this intersection.
Left onto Pebblyhill Rd.
Right onto Mitchell Park Rd.
Entrance to Mitchell Park. Have a look at the map on the info board. Steep downhill follows.
Good river viewing spot near big eucalypt tree on bank. Go for a walk through the forest.
Left onto road into Cattai National Park.
Visit Cattai National Park as well. Return via same route or follow Old Pitt Town Rd across Boundary Rd to Box Hill and then take Nelson Rd to get to Windsor Rd. A new cycleway being built (nearing completion at end of 2006) along Windsor Rd should get you back to Sunnyholt Rd and Blacktown or to Parramatta if you want a longer ride.
