D901 turns into a motorway - about turn
Blocked by railway line/ditch and Route Barree - managed to get past another Route Barree and onto other side of tracks.
Long winding hill - saw German with a third wheel on back of bike so that he could take insane amounts of luggage on 5 week cycling trip
No bar or cafe let alone room at inn

Turned off main road - probably a mistake as minor road was very hilly and surface poor. Main road was not that busy at this point.
Lunch in Churchyard. Solid stone picnic table and benches made perfect stopping place.
D807 unpleasantly busy

Great traffic free run
Fast descent, but bumpy surface
Hotel with pool and helpful manager - needed as no taxis for 25 miles

Arnac Pompadour - Bouzies. Hilly day mainly on quiet roads. Short section on D807 best avoided. Many sections very pretty, but road surfaces not a smooth as one would like.
