King's Park outside loop
by cricketk

The way points of this bicycle route:

Cross over King's Park Road and enter King's Park proper - stick to the shared path about 20m in from Thomas Street. Don't make any sharp turns and you'll stay on the correct path.

You're now on the road proper within King's Park - speed limit (all vehicles) is 40 km/hr

Coming up for the Children's Playground. Lots of cars parked and behaving a little unpredicatably. Very, very busy over summer afternoon/evenings and all weekend.

Turn right at the triangle-about.

Turn off onto the footpath about 10 metres before meeting Thomas Street again. This is a short section of steep downhill to this turn - often with cars following. Signal clearly.

Through the underpass heading into UWA, then turn left before you're all the way through - this will put you on the shared path next to Stirling Highway.

Cross South-bound Freeway entry and turn left

go through underpass

End of bikepath - very little vision of pedestrians/other bikes coming up on your right at the end of the bikepath - people occasionally collide here
