The way points of this bicycle route:
Cross Wilmington Pike at light
Entering Bike frindly Bellbrook
725 has wide berm and is fiarly safe to ride ; get ready for a short but steep climb!
You have done the climb; relax on the flats!
AT this point you turn right onto US 42; huge berm and you are only on 42 for less than 1/2 mile
You have just climbed Col de Houston; apparently GOBA came through here a year or two ago and named the climb. Fairly easy climb
Enter onto Bike pah from Bickett Road
At route 68 you will see the Xenia Bike Station; stop here for bathroom & water fill up
Beavercreek 5th/3rd Gazebo; water bathrooms; pop vending machines etc.
Bike trail makes a T. Take a left (South) to get back to Kettering. You can opt to go right and continue on the Mad River trail going by Riverscape in Dayton (not mapped on this route)
short climb up Woodbine Ave.
Cross Smithville Road at Light
Watch traffic on Wilmington; make a left and quick right onto Shadowlawn; you won't be on Wilmington for more than 100 feet
Patterson Road is a decent road with some traffic; most of the time traffic is fairly light and it is 25 mph speed limit
Perhaps an Oakwood resident will offer you a martini at this point; look around for people gathered on a deck watching landscapers do yard work ;-)
