Robert Treman State Park

Begins from parking lot by Old Mill in upper Treman Park near Ithaca, NY

Left on Woodard (uphill on light duty oiled gravel road)

Left on Hines Rd (paved)

Continue on Hines Road (nice long uphilll grade)

Continue on Hines Rd (top of the long grade)

Bear right on Trumbull Corners Rd (paved)

Straight at intersection - becomes Connecticut Hill Rd (uphill grade begins, still paved)

Left on Griffin Rd (uphill, gravel road)

Continue on Griffin (long uphill grade begins)

Continue on Griffin (top of grade)

Left on Black Oak Rd (paved)

Nice view in foreground of Connecticut Hill and towers on top. Also Cayuta Lake in distance on right.

Straight at intersection - becomes Tower Rd (steep uphill on gravel road)

Top of grade on Tower Road.

Right onto gravel park road to top of Connecticut Hill (radio towers at top)

Cross Finger Lakes Trail.

Junky turnaround at top - no view. Too bad.

Head back down park road to Tower Rd.

Back on Tower Road continue straight ahead (still gravel)

Continue on Tower road (steep downhill)

Right on Connecticut Hill Road (gravel)

Right on gravel double track road (no road signs). Proceeds down steep downgrade.

Bottom of grade.

Becomes Leonard Rd (no road signs)

More downgrades. Gravel can be loose along here - careful.

More downgrades, more loose gravel.

More downgrades.

Levels off from here.

Right at T intersection onto Varloon Rd (gravel, no street signs)

Left on County Rte 6 (paved county highway)

Nice view of Cayuta Lake in distance through trees to right.

Left on Connecticut Hill Rd (gravel - uphill grade begins)

Grade levels out but still climbing.

Continues with occasional uphill climbs.

Climbs continue on and off.

Levels off at top of grade.

Some downhill too.

Some climbing in here.

Steep climb begins.

Ultra steep climb (on gravel no less!)

Left on Connecticut Hill Rd (gravel, all the roads around here seem to be called Connecticut Hill - no street signs)

Nice easy climb on good cinder road.

Bear right on Boylan Rd (gravel - well maintained)

Some downgrades on loose fine gravel - watch out for speed.

Continue straight onto paved road ahead (becomes Connecticut Hill Rd).

Great view of Ithaca, NY and vicinity in distance to right.

Bear right on Cayutaville Rd (paved).

Left on Trumbull Corners Rd (paved)

Right on Douglas Rd (paved)

Short uphill section

Long downhill section.

Left on Stonehouse Rd (short steep uphill on gravel road)

Top of climb. Slight rise after here.

Right on Woodard Rd (gravel).

End of ride at Old Mill parking lot in upper Treman State Park.
