Issaquah to Rattlesnake Lake

The way points of this bicycle route:

Issaquah

Start at Tibbets Valley Park

Go east on Newport Way NW

Turn right to follow Newport Way NW.

Left on E. Sunset Way

Climb up toward the freeway by cutting right behind the concrete barrier and riding up the narrow path just right of the barrier.

Cross the incoming ramp at crosswalk (still heading Northeast. Get on sidewalk/path

Follow the path

You'll go past a tunnel on your left. Keep going straight (NE) toward Preston/Highpoint.

Trail becomes gravel.

Left on SE Highpoint Way

Preston

Left on SE 87th Place

Get on paved trail heading Northeast toward Fall City.

The map or satellite view doesn't show it, but you follow a steep paved switchback down to the road (the trail your on follows an old rail route, but the old tracks went over a trestle that washed away years ago. Thus the switchback.

Left (NE) on Preston Fall City Road.

Fall City

Cross the river

Right on SE Fall City Snoqualmie Rd (also known as SR-202).

Right on Fish Hatchery Road

Left on SE 372nd Ave SE

Right on SR 202

Snoqualmie Falls

You may want to stop at the Snoqualmie Falls overlook. It's very pretty. The TV show "Twin Peaks" was filmed here.

North Bend

Straight on E 4th St,

Left on Ballarat Ave N.

Right on unpaved trail.

Follow the trail across the road.

Rattlesnake Lake is another pretty place to stop.

Here is where you connect up with the Iron Horse/John Wayne Trail, which will take you up to Snoqualmie Pass
