The way points of this bicycle route:
A gentle and constant incline with a few gentle bends.
Incline increases here for about 25m.
Sit a the lights for a bit! Definitely not a junction you want to mess with.
Billy Big Speed Bumps. 20mph limit here. The Bull pub on the right.
Out on the open road here. Nothing but fields.
The start of Titsey Hill. Psych yourself before here.
Catch your breath and congratulate yourself here. Straight over the round-a-bout. Nice by-way to the left if you are on an MTB & going the other way!
Botley Hill Farmhouse pub. Nice for a drink with great views down a valley. Food has gone down hill and is expensive though.
The combined cycle route/pavement is a wise choice here unless you like being buzzed by arseholes at 70mph. However, it does become overgrown in the summer and it is the worst laid bit of tarmac I have ever ridden.
Back in to suburbia.
Watch out for the tyre-eating drain covers here. I am speaking from experience.
A busy round-a-bout but not too bad.
A nice, long +30mph decent here.
Join the main road here. Nice smooth tarmac for a change
Bus Lane here- a nice haven.
Geoffrey Butler Cycles on the East side of the road.
