The way points of this bicycle route:
Start point is close to an exit of Autobahn 8.
Alternate -- ride around the Tegernsee (lake), which is what we did that day, but we weren't happy with some parts of that riding, so better to let someone else contribute a good route for that. We found a couple of food options in Gmund.
Not sure about the next kilometer, because we did not ride it -- but it climbs to a big view of the lake, and then connects to further nice riding.

pretty farmland south of Munich / München which Sharon + I rode in September 2009. Lots of quiet roads, horses, cows, little villages. Three towns with food options, one big view of Tegern lake (optionally could ride around the Tegernsee lake). For more info and other routes, see www.roberts-1.com/b/x/de. One or two short sections on dirt/gravel, otherwise asphalt surface, mostly in sound condition. Route is the GPS points from our riding that day (with minor edits). Holzkirchen is close to exit of Autobahn 8. This route not checked by use since 2009.
