The way points of this bicycle route:
Get out of the north side of the station (right side).
turn right then left immediately, into the bushy tafe campus
generally you want to head straight and left. you can't really go wrong. if you hit narellan road prematurely, just turn left.
turn left here. On the map you can see there are ways of going all the way through the campus without using Narellan road, up to you.
you can stick your thumb out here but you will expose yourself to more city drivers, who are not going anywhere useful and tend to be more obnoxious
this is the main highway, also called S. Western Freeway. Turn left here and follow the exit ramp down.
You're ready to hitch south now. This is a reasonable place to hitch from or you can walk along with your thumb out if you prefer. Good luck!
