The way points of this bicycle route:
STARTING POINT
From this point the track is unsealed and very undulating. Use some caution when approaching rises & bends.
Turn LEFT at the bridge.
Turn RIGHT once you are over the bridge.
Underpass (Narrow pathway - watch out for oncoming bikes)
Underpass
Narrow Bike path - watch out for oncoming Bikes as the track becomes a single lane for each direction - very narrow. KEEP to your left at this point.
Turn right at this point.
Lots of stones at corner, Road Bikes will need to apply caution.
The track now becomes a raised boardwalk. Be very careful on this section and watch out for oncoming bikes and pedestrians. The boardwalk finishes at Burwood Highway. There is essentially only a single spot where you can safely stop on this boardwalk.
Boardwalk - take care with oncoming Bikes.
Turn LEFT at Morack Rd and proceed South.
Fairly steep ascent.
Turn LEFT to go up to the Lookout.
Flattens out about here.
Downhill run.
The more adventerous can turn RIGHT at this point and take a slight detour along a rough and steep track. Watch out for the sudden right hand turn at the end. (My first stack!)
Toilets.
Lots of stones on corner, Road Bikes will need to take care.
The track between here and the underpass is unsealed and a little rough in spots. You will have to pass through a narrow exit point.
*****Watch out for oncoming Bikes.
Raised Boardwalk, goes for about 10m.
Turn RIGHT. (Sealed track)
Turn RIGHT.
Turn RIGHT.
Madeline's Cafe.
Spring loaded gate -opens to the West.
Turn LEFT. You can shorten the ride by not turning and rejoining the track after about 200m.
Turn LEFT.
Spring loaded gate.
Turn RIGHT. You will have to open the spring loaded gate. Watch out for loose gravel.
Good downhill run.
Easy run to High Street Rd.
A detour can be made at this point directly to High Street Rd. This will shorten the trip by a several hundred metres.
Turn off at this point if you wish to continue along the Blink Creek Bike path to Knox City and eventually to Boronia.
Bike/Pedestrian bridge over Burwood Hwy (opened in Nov 09)
Turn Left at road.
Instead of turning Right towards Heathmont you can turn left back towards Jells Park - this makes the track a loop circuit.
Riders who started from Assembly Point 'B' may return at this point.

This would be one of the most scenic tracks available in Melbourne, certainly within the Eastern Suburbs.
You can continue on from Heathmont and travel along a bike track to The Basin or going so you can continue on towards Seaford.
