The way points of this bicycle route:

Sunflower Elementary School

Sunflower Elementary School 2521 Inverness Drive Lawrence, KS

First, get out on Inverness Drive and head south.

Take a right on 27th

An odd intersection. Take a left at the light and cross over K10. It is a highway, so watch the traffic, and watch the oncoming traffic from Dragstrip Rd.

South Lawrence Trafficway Trail

Get off the road here after crossing the highway, and onto the trail.

Off the trail and back on the road. While the dam road is a nice straight and level ride, the surface is a *touch* rough.

Clinton Lake Dam

There's a bit of a climb here...

... followed by a nice payout.

AT Dam Rd and E 1000, take a right at the T intersection

Take a right on N 900th.

Lone Star

Take a left at E 800th.

Take an easy right on E 661st Diag Rd.

Turn right at E 661st Diag and E 582nd Rd and cross the dam. Follow this road around the lake until you get to the T in the road.

Take a right at the T here (E 582nd and N 600th), onto N 600th Rd.

At N 600th and Lake Rd 1029, take a right on Lake Road.

Take a left on N 950th Rd. Follow it as it veers to the right and becomes E 251st Diag Rd.

At E 251st Diag Rd and Lake Rd 480, take a right on Lake Rd 480. Follow this road all the way around to Bloomington Beach.

Bloomington Beach

Made it all the way. Just trace your steps back, and you have nearly 50 miles of nice scenic riding, with the occasional hill, and an equal number of payoffs.

At E 1000th and N 1150 Rd, Recover here, b/c there is a climb coming up.

Starting your climb...

Finished climbing, with a decent payoff, but a long straightaway that is typically against the wind.

Sunflower Elementary School

Back at the finish line.
